Improving Income Driven Repayment for the William D. Ford Federal
Direct Loan Program and the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL)
Program--Agreement: A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing
that if a motion to proceed to the consideration of S.J. Res. 43,
providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5,
United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of
Education relating to “Improving Income Driven Repayment for the
William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program and the Federal Family
Education Loan (FFEL) Program,” is made, the motion be agreed to and
that at 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Senate vote on
passage of the joint resolution.
