Cloture Motion (Executive Session)  (S1024)

11:27 a.m. - The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Julie Simone Sneed to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.

12:32 p.m. - By a vote of 54-43, the Senate invoked cloture on Julie Simone Sneed to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Senators Collins, Graham, Murkowski, Rubio, & Scott (FL) voted in favor. Senators Klobuchar, Smith, & Tillis did not vote.

12:33 p.m. - Republican Leader McConnell is speaking on his time in the Senate and announced he is stepping down as Republican Leader in November.
