11:01 a.m. Senator Shaheen spoke in support of the nomination of Ambassador Elizabeth H. Richard to be Coordinator for Counterterrorism and asked unanimous that the Senate vote on the Richard nominations. Senator Cruz objected.

11:37 a.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of P. Casey Pitts to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.
12:27 p.m. By a vote of 53-46, the Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of P. Casey Pitts to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California. Senators Collins and Graham voted yes. Senator Scott of SC did not vote.
12:28 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on Executive Calendar #26 Dale E. Ho, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
1:18 p.m. By a vote of 50-49 , the motion to invoke cloture on the Ho nomination was agreed to. Senator Scott (SC) did not vote. Senator Manchin voted no.

6:09 p.m. Senator Cortez-Masto began wrap up: - Confirmed the nomination of Stephen Eberle to be U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Pennsylvania for the term of four years, by voice vote. - Under Rule 14, H.R. 1615, Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act was read for the first time. - The Senate agreed to H.Con.Res. 43, Authorizing the use of the Capitol Grounds for the Greater Washington Soap Box Derb, by unanimous consent. - The Senate agreed to S.Res. 253, Designating June 16, 2023 as National Service and Conservation Coprs Day.
