10:49 a.m. - Senator Thune spoke about regular order with the Senate Appropriations Committee.
11:07 a.m. - Senator Cornyn spoke on immigration and border control.
11:28 a.m. - Senator Markey spoke on the Joun nomination.
11:33 a.m. - The Senate began voting on confirmation of the nomination of Tiffany Cartwright to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.
12:31 p.m. - By a vote of 50-47, the Senate confirmed Tiffany Cartwright to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington. Senators Collins and Graham voted in favor. Senators Fetterman, Sanders and Welch did not vote.
12:31 p.m. - The Senate is now voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Myong Joun to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.
1:36 p.m. - By a vote of 51-46, the Senate invoked cloture on Myong J. Joun to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts. Republicans voting in favor: Collins, Graham, and Murkowski. Senators not voting: Fetterman, Sanders and Welch.
1:37 p.m. - Majority Leader Schumer received unanimous consent for the Senate to vote on the previously scheduled 2:30 p.m. - roll call votes at 4:00 p.m.: Confirmation of the nomination of Myong Joun to be United States District Judge for the State of Massachusetts. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kalpana Kotagal to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also moved to proceed to S. 2226, the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2024.
1:39 p.m. - Senators Capito, Fischer, Grassley, Marshall, Barrasso and Tuberville spoke on inflation.
2:23 p.m. - Senator Durbin spoke about NATO, Ukraine and his visit to Lithuania. He also spoke about the integrity of the Supreme Court.

5:10 p.m. - By a vote of 52-46, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Myong Joun to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts. Senators Collins, Graham, and Murkowski voted in favor. Senators Sanders and Welch did not vote.
5:10 p.m. - The Senate is now voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kalpana Kotagal to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
6:03 p.m. - By a vote of 51-50, with the Vice President voting in the affirmative, the Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Kalpana Kotagal to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Senator Manchin voted no.
